Hmmm maybe you only get the 'unlock' option if you actually have the key. I'll check it tonight. I plan on playing a bit & pretty sure I left off up at NEAF. If you're on we'll paper rock scissors to see who tries to fly it. The other person is responsible for screenshot of inevitable crash.

Oh OK haha. Yea you won't get the option to unlock it if it is locked and you don't have the key or a lockpick. The nudge option is just in case it is in the way and the owner is offline.

Ok everyone! *Hopefully* all the custom buildings that were on the other server will be ingame on epoch now. So your airfields will be much more populated. If there are any issues with new buildings conflicting with old buildings let me know. Have fun!


Oh and btw guys, only ONE trader village is a safe zone. It's marked on the map.

When I try to buy a VS3 reammo truck it tells me that there is a insufficient stock, same happens with the mozzie.

Yea. I'm working on scripts to automatically restock the traders. Also, if you didn't see Yolo, I know you just got booted a couple of times... The machine is overheating. I'm working on it now.

Half of my buildings in my base have disappeared, I know that no one did it because the buildings were there before a restart and then after a restart they were gone

I can't look at it ATM being at work. However, sometimes these things happened with the other server too. Only thing you could do was wait till the next restart. I'd restart it manually if I could, but I can't.

Yea troy reported that too. I'm still working on getting the epoch vehicles towable, and once they are towable, I have to add the script as an exception to battleye commander so it doesn't think you're hacking. Any scripts have to be accepted by BEC. I'm working on it.

Buildables have been degrading over time, I checked my plot pole to see if I could maintain my buildables (like it would make me do on other servers) and it would say that there are no building parts in range even though there are plenty of building parts around

Buildables are supposed to degrade over time. That's part of Epoch.

As for the plot pole not registering properly, that's probably due to the fact that you don't own your buildables after the update. Read the thread in server news for more information.

Cinderblock wall & Garage door I built about 10 days is no longer there. I assume that is just because of the recent update to new beta patch correct? I know you mentioned that may be the case in 'Arma 2 Update' thread. Can anyone else confirm if there buildables disappeared after change-over? No big deal if that's the case just curious, I can always rebuild. Just want to confirm it was the change-over & not some other unresolved issue before I start re-building. Thanks.

It seems as though alot of people's buildables did not survive the update. If you lost your stuff in the the update, let me know and I will replace the cost of what you lost in gold.

Also remember that you do have to maintain your buildables at least every 7 days through the plot pole.

I think the missing objects are a server glitch, I made another plot pole and placed some objects and tried to maintain them and it never gave me the option

Papa the server hasn't been restarting and I think missions haven't been popping up because of it, is there anyway you can restart the server manually?

Yea, I know it isn't restarting. The new version of battleye commander that is required for the new patch has a completely different scheduling system. I'm going to have to write it again from scratch. just haven't had the time lately to work on it. I can restart it manually every evening.

Still seems to be a little something going on with plot poles & buildables... You're supposed to be able to mouse wheel on plot pole & 'maintain area' (repair degrading that's taken place). I have buildables right next to plot pole but when I mouse wheel on plot pole the 'maintain area' & maintain area preview' are both in red & when I click on 'maintain area' is says there are no buildables in range to maintain.

Cinderblock wall, garage door, & plot pole disappeared. I checked plot pole about daily since building & I was never given the ability to 'maintain area'. I always received message 'no buildables in range' when I tried. So plot pole's essentially aren't recognizing buildables in their radius.
