Are buildings still disappearing?

I was just speaking with Hensley about this. Try them now. I am hoping what he found on a forum will work to keep things from disappearing. Keep in mind, this may take a day to take effect, so build something today and see if you can maintain it tomorrow or so.

I put down plot pole & built one cinder wall by it last night. The 'maintain area' was still in red & not recognizing buildables in it's range. But like Papa said it may a day or so to take effect so I'll check on it again tonight & report back..

Not great news on plot pole / buildables issue. About 24 hours later after putting plot pole down & building cinderblock wall I'm still getting 'maintain area' in red saying there are no buildings in area. I was afraid that may be the case so did a little more research today on issue. Have a few links I can send ya Papa if you're interested.

Does anyone know if wood structures also degrade over time or is it just cinderblocks??

Ok another link below talking about the exact issue we're having with maintaining buidlables. If I'm reading it correctly guy is saying you can't 'maintain area' until 6 days after building something. Problem is 6 days is when buildings disappear at the moment. So there is no window to maintain before they poof. Other guy talks about just disabling decay by setting it to negative values. Worth a shot maybe??

Are your walls still disappearing? I know the maintain option is not working, but decay should be disabled completely atm. Basically, the maintain option shouldn't ever work, because buildings will never decay to the point that it will let you.

Hard to say Papa. Walls have poofed twice on me, both times 6 days after being built. The last wall I built was Tuesday so I guess Monday will let us know 100%. But surely if you disabled the decay altogether then that would fix the issue. Thanks for your help with this!

I did a backflip while driving an SUV over a bridge, so just keep that in mind while you are playing. Also lock vehicles can still be towed.

Good news on the buildables Smile I checked both last night & again this morning & garage door I put up last week was still there. I think it is fair to say the buildable issue is all squared away (won't poof). So base build away everyone!!

In Trader City Rash, the option to buy vehicle parts gives the same option as the toolbelt option.  It is rather bothersome to me at this point. Also there seems to be several cars that cannot tow or maybe be towed. One of the two.
